Navigating cultural expectations while staying true to ourselves as Todas can often feel like walking a tightrope. We often find ourselves grappling with the weight of family expectations regarding marriage, career paths, or even day-to-day choices. Just talking about it with someone who understands the nuances of being a Toda can make a huge difference. It’s comforting to know that we share similar struggles and triumphs, and sometimes, brainstorming solutions together can lead to unexpected insights. Another approach some of us try is creating our own definitions of what it means to be a Toda in today's world.
